- ➤ St. Peter's Kitchen staff are pitching in to feed Rochester residents during the holiday season, providing meals to families in need. ABC 13
- ➤ Rise Up Rochester held its annual Celebration of Remembrance on Dec. 12 to support families who lost loved ones to violence and provide community healing. The nonprofit will host a free Christmas party for affected children at Stardust Ballroom on Dec. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. ABC 13

- ➤ Gnomes have taken over Cumming Nature Center for a Holiday Lights event. On Dec. 19 and Dec. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m., guests can take a 0.75-mile nighttime walk with a bonfire and hot cocoa available at 6472 Gulick Road in Naples, Ontario County. Democrat & Chronicle
- ➤ The RIT Model Railroad Club is launching its 19th Tiger Tracks show featuring a range of model railroads. Club president Miles Davenport and secretary Nolan Kovalik say the event runs today and Dec. 14 from (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). ABC 13
- ➤ A Christmas Carol returns to Geva Theatre's Wilson Stage, where Michael Preston and Esther Winter perform as Ebenezer Scrooge and Mrs. Cratchit until Dec. 28. ABC 13
- ➤ Finger Lakes Community College and Bristol Hills Historical Society won a first-place award at the Nor’Easter Video Festival Dec. 8 (Mass) for their film History and Mystery: The Folklore and Legends of the Bristol Hills.
