- ➤ Wayne County will welcome home the remains of Sgt. John Pagliuso, a U.S. Army soldier killed during WWII in a bombing over Papua New Guinea whose remains were identified in March. His remains will be flown to the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport on Thursday — a public procession through Ontario, Williamson, Sodus Arcadia and Lyons will follow — with a graveside service set for 11 a.m. Friday in Old Elmwood Cemetery. - ➤ BRICK Rochester Academy, a new public charter school in northwest Rochester set to open next fall, is a partnership between Rochester Education and Development for Youth and the BRICK Education Network from New Jersey.
