- ➤ After a burst pipe flooded Scottsville Ice Arena on October 28th, the rink closed for repairs and local supporters, including members of Flower City Special Hockey, launched a GoFundMe that has raised over $6,000—this effort aims to help the family-owned rink reopen after Thanksgiving. ABC 13
- ➤ The Veterans Outreach Center hosted its annual Stars and Stripes Celebration on Saturday evening (at Rochester Riverside Convention Center) to honor local military members. Every dollar raised went toward helping veterans find jobs, housing, and support to rebuild their lives. News 10
- ➤ Today, Downtown ROCs is commissioning a mural to honor longtime community leader Midge Thomas on the exterior wall of Abilene Bar and Lounge at 153 Liberty Pole Way. Local muralist Shawnee Hill will paint the artwork throughout today, and it will show two outstretched hands connecting—symbolizing unity and compassion. News 10

- ➤ BJ’s Wholesale Club announced that it will bring back its free Thanksgiving turkey promotion—members spending $150 or more by Nov. 10 will receive a coupon for a fresh or frozen Butterball turkey with a maximum value of $25 that excludes organic turkeys.
