GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that $30 million in emergency funds will be fast-tracked to help New Yorkers with food insecurity due to a possible federal shutdown — the funds will provide 16 million meals and an extra $11 million for food banks while SNAP users will be notified by November 1 of any changes.
