- ➤ Rochester stepdaughter Keyanna Richards (31) is charged with second-degree murder after she stabbed her stepfather, Gary Morgan (49), multiple times near Dewey and Driving Park avenues on Aug. 27 during an argument over stolen items; she was taken into custody on Aug. 28 and faces outstanding burglary warrants in Florida and Illinois. - ➤ Rochester man Davonte Lippens pleaded guilty to a weapons charge on Thursday—guns were recovered from nearby houses in connection with the 2022 Airbnb homicide that killed 24-year-old Jahkeem Douglas and injured four others. NewsRadio WHAM

- ➤ Caitlin Bradley from Rochester Regional Health said on Friday at Penn Fair Pediatrics in Penfield that students and parents are facing stress about back-to-school challenges like making friends, handling harder classes, and rising school supply costs—she added that the hospital offers clinics, embedded school therapists, and other programs to help families cope.
