- ➤ Frankie Spencer, a 19-year-old from Rochester, admitted early Sunday to striking a 63-year-old man and leaving the scene on English Road in Greece on Friday night—police arrested him and charged him with leaving the scene and driving while impaired. ABC 13
- ➤ Forty-five cats were removed from a Perinton home at 14 Kreag Road on Aug. 20 after neighbors reported cats being fed and bad odors—officials recalled that a similar hoarding incident in 2021 led to nearly 100 cats being taken and unsanitary conditions detected. Democrat & Chronicle
- ➤ A 34-year-old woman was arrested Friday night for attacking a 75-year-old man in a Culver Road parking lot on Aug. 17—he suffered a broken hip and fractured neck that required surgery, and she pleaded not guilty at her Saturday arraignment while she is set to appear in court in September.
