- ➤ On Saturday morning around 5 a.m., police responded to a fight at a street party on Flint street when a 35-year-old man was shot and taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition—arresting a 25-year-old suspect already on parole. News 10
- ➤ Rochester police say a man died after a hit-and-run crash near Broad and Jay streets at 10:30 p.m. Friday—investigators report that two cars may have been racing when one struck the victim and officials are asking anyone with information to call 911. News 10
- ➤ A man in his 40s was found shot on a porch on Mazda Terrace around 9 p.m. Friday and died at the hospital—police said the shooting stemmed from an argument with another person. News 10
- ➤ Rochester police arrested Javier Justice after he fatally stabbed 31-year-old Abagail Perez on Spencer Street around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 — he was shot by an unknown intervenor and faces a second-degree murder charge with arraignment scheduled today. ABC 13
- ➤ Three Rochester men—Lamarious Bradley, Lucius Bradley, and Chad Brown—were charged with an alleged mail theft ring dating back to 2023 after surveillance footage captured them breaking into mailboxes in Irondequoit and Brighton, with authorities linking the scheme to bank fraud and recovering items from searches.
