- ➤ A Rochester woman, Wendy Stone, is set to serve a year in federal prison for federal identity theft after she replaced her deceased boyfriend Kenneth Crisman’s debit card to steal his benefits and used bleach on his body in her basement—she also faces a state charge for concealing the corpse—while her son Cody received 5 years probation for assisting her. - ➤ Rochester police arrested 20-year-old Jawanza Abrams on Friday after he shot two people on Ferris Street earlier this year, killing 23-year-old Jeremiah Maddox and injuring a 19-year-old man in a home kept as an extra residence for children—police said the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute over illegal activity with further charges possible.
