CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The trial for Ontario County teen Evan Haggett, accused of running a stop sign that caused a fatal crash killing 62-year-old Thomas Doherty in Walworth on January 2, 2024, has started in a crowded courtroom as his request not to appear was granted—his hearing is adjourned until July 28 while the victim's family seeks accountability. - ➤ Joe Locke, a Rochester Music Hall of Famer and award-winning vibraphonist, performed with his group on Sunday at the Rochester International Jazz Festival and spoke about his deep connection to the city.
