A 25-year-old Rochester man (Markel Taylor) was arrested after a domestic dispute led him to hit a victim on Third Street and then crash into an oncoming police car, injuring an RPD officer who was treated and released from Rochester General Hospital.

Three local researchers received Breast Cancer Coalition grants on June 17 when Dr. Ajay Dhakal got $50,000 to study brain metastasis in triple negative breast cancer patients & doctoral candidates Fatemeh Alimohammadi and Zachary Robert Smith each earned $25,000 for studies on antioxidants and hormone therapy resistance. Their work aims to improve treatment and prevention strategies for patients with breast cancer.
