  • Multiple agencies have searched the Genesee River for a roughly 5-year-old who fell from a railing near the Andrews Street bridge on Sunday, June 1, and police said the child, who was walking with his mother, has not been located.  ABC 13

  • Police reported that a 23-year-old Canadian man was robbed at gunpoint on Jay Street near Child Street around 1:39 a.m. Sunday—he lost his blue Volkswagen Taos and his phone while remaining unharmed.  News 10

  • Geva Theatre wrapped up its 52nd season last Saturday by opening Beautiful, The Carole King Musical, a production that shows the true story of King’s rise to fame. The show will run until June 29 and highlights both her creative success and the challenges she faced.  News 10

  • On Saturday, more than 180 teams joined the Stroll for Strong Kids fundraiser at Genesee Valley Park to benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital—featuring a 5K run, games, and a dunk tank.
