- ➤ Ontario County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 41st ATHENA Leadership Awards until June 8, and the awards event is scheduled for Nov. 5 at Finger Lakes Community College where finalists will be recognized. Democrat & Chronicle

- ➤ Today, Rochester Public Market hosts its monthly food truck rodeo from 5 to 9 p.m. as part of a vibrant summer lineup. The city offers festivals, craft beer expos, cocktail revivals, and tastings at local wineries and parks— events continuing into early fall. Democrat & Chronicle
- ➤ Three Heads Brewing will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a three-day party from June 11-13 at 186 Atlantic Ave, featuring the launch of 585 Hazy IPA, live music by Public Water Supply, Honey Smugglers & A Girl Named Genny, and archival beers like The Kind IPA. Rochester Beacon
- ➤ Monroe County officials announced that the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the Rochester International Airshow on Aug. 8-9 at Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport, joined by the U.S. Army Golden Knights and local pilot Maj. - ➤ Officials announced Tuesday that the 2026 Rochester International Airshow will feature the Thunderbirds, F-35 — flown by local Major Horn — and Golden Knights on Aug. 8-9 at Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. Ticket proceeds will help the Sunny Mike Foundation; children 12 and under are free. ABC 13

- ➤ Sgt. Noah Fast received a life-saving kidney transplant yesterday at Strong Memorial Hospital from his police department clerk Tammy Elliott when she volunteered as a donor after learning of his worsening condition. His wife said the surgeries went well and the donation now gives him a chance to work and travel again. ABC 13
- ➤ Wilmot Cancer Institute received a $7.7 million grant from the National Cancer Institute to support clinical trials over the next six years. The award (a Lead Academic Participating Site grant) recognizes its top patient-enrollment record in national research and will help improve cancer care in our community. Rochester Beacon
