- ➤ A 51-year-old Rochester woman was struck early Sunday at 4 a.m. on Portland Avenue near Trust Street when she stepped into the path of a northbound car driven by a 76-year-old man from Irondequoit who stayed at the scene as emergency crews took her to URMC, where she is expected to survive her serious injuries.
