- ➤ More than 500 people took part in the C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association's 17th Annual 5K Run & Fun Walk on the MCC campus Saturday morning, helping to reach a $70,000 goal for families impacted by childhood cancer as the organization celebrates 50 years. ABC 13

- ➤ Empire State College hosted an event for the 30th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 25 at its Brighton campus at 680 Westfall Road — the event ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offered a safe place for community members to dispose of prescription drugs. ABC 13

- ➤ Today the Bills selected UConn All-American Skyler Bell in the fourth round, adding a versatile pass catcher who set records with 101 receptions and 13 touchdowns in 2025.
