- ➤ Police responded to a shooting just after 10 p.m. Monday in downtown Rochester (near East Main and Franklin streets) and found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his lower body that was not life-threatening (investigators say the incident likely occurred near Gibbs and Delevan) and no suspect is in custody. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Graduate workers at the University of Rochester held an indefinite strike Monday, April 21 after school officials refused a private election agreement for union recognition. The school said the workers can pursue union recognition through an NLRB election— a method already used at several peer institutions. ABC 13
