- ➤ Rochester Police responded to a three-car crash on Mt. Hope Avenue by Highland Avenue at 3 p.m. on Saturday when a 66-year-old man suffered a medical event that caused his car to cross into oncoming traffic and hit two northbound cars—he was taken to hospital in critical condition—police said. - ➤ James Thomas—a beloved local hearing-impaired athlete and RIT graduate—was fatally struck by an RG&E truck at 2:30 a.m. on April 15, and local organizers are arranging his funeral services as investigators review the incident. News 10
