- ➤ A Rochester doctor—Dr. Michael Groff—and his family were among six killed when a plane crashed in an agricultural field in Copake on April 12, and authorities confirmed that his daughter Karenna, her boyfriend James Santoro, and Karenna’s mother Dr. Joy Saini also died. ABC 13
