- ➤ Community members and firefighters celebrated the West Henrietta Fire Department's 100th anniversary on Saturday, April 11 + the department hosted a banquet and will hold a fundraiser craft show on May 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its fire station. ABC 13
- ➤ More than 100 residents joined a walk for peace at Buckland Park in Brighton on Saturday morning, carrying signs calling for hope and respect. Organizer JoAnie Bringley said local police escorted the gathering. News 10
- ➤ American Red Cross volunteers visited local residences to install free smoke detectors as part of its Home Fire Campaign and fit bed shakers for people who are deaf (a safety measure that has saved over 50 lives in Western New York). News 10
