- ➤ A state Supreme Court judge is considering default judgments totaling nearly $1 million against a Fairport company and its owner for not paying dental bills owed to teachers and staff, with the funds to go to local schools. - ➤ Autism Up and Monroe County are partnering to offer sensory-friendly DMV appointments on Saturday, April 11 at Autism Up, 50 Science Parkway, Rochester from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy dimmed lighting, beanbag chairs, and sensory bags with noise-cancelling headphones for non-drivers license IDs + less stress. - ➤ The 15th annual Dr. Lemuel & Gloria Rogers African American Health Symposium was held yesterday at Memorial AME Zion Church (Clarissa Street) in Rochester. The event aimed to educate the public on Alzheimer's risk factors and symptoms to help close the diagnosis gap among older Black Americans. ABC 13
- ➤ On Monday, nearly 290 technical medical workers at Rochester General Hospital voted to join the union after a 145+54 vote by the NLRB. In addition, about 80 urgent care workers at regional facilities will decide on unionizing once an election date is set. News 10
