- ➤ Yesterday, Rochester unveiled the summer Party in the Park concert lineup at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park—shows will take place every Thursday at 5 p.m. from July 10 to Aug. 14 featuring tribute bands that honor acts like Fleetwood Mac, Taylor Swift, and Sublime. ABC 13
- ➤ United Way of Greater Rochester is partnering with Wegmans to raise funds for community members facing food insecurity through a checkout scan campaign. The drive runs through May 3 (after nearly 15 years of the program and over $400,000 raised last year) and will support more than 1,100 nonprofits serving 400,000 local people. News 10
- ➤ Ronald McDonald House in Rochester is preparing for its 35th anniversary gala on Saturday at Riverside Convention Center—Good Day Rochester's Chris Lopez toured the facility to highlight the event. ABC 13

- ➤ A man was shot early on April 9th at Maxwell Avenue and Ellicott Street—police located the 33-year-old victim and he was taken to hospital with non-lethal injuries—while investigators work to identify any suspects. ABC 13
- ➤ A police scuba team recovered an adult male's body from the Genesee River near the Andrews Street Bridge downtown yesterday at 1:45 p.m.—police are working with the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office to identify him and investigate the case. ABC 13

- ➤ Gov. Kathy Hochul declared Friday, April 11 as New York Craft Beer Day, inviting local residents to enjoy beer tastings and events hosted by Rochester and Finger Lakes craft breweries.
