  • Saturday, April 4, 2026, the Charlotte Community Association hosted its second annual Easter Egg Hunt at Ontario Beach Park, drawing nearly 600 people despite cooler weather. Families enjoyed the festive event along the waterfront while connecting with neighbors.  ABC 13

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Just before 5 a.m. Saturday, Alexander firefighters fought a nearly three-hour blaze on Old Creek Road that destroyed a barn — no injuries or animals were involved and the cause is under investigation.  ABC 13

  • Rochester artist Patrice McPeak showcased her Joy Gallery exhibit on Saturday, featuring painted portraits drawn from her weekly work with the Homeless Outreach Team (she captured the personal stories of people experiencing homelessness during her walks in the city).  News 10

  • After severe weather triggered a backyard landslide earlier this week, Irondequoit neighbors evacuated as town officials assessed damage and contacted state and county agencies for safety measures.  ABC 13
