  • An 11-year-old boy from West Irondequoit named Collin Cusimano is hosting a sporting goods donation drive today at 117 Kings Highway N in Rochester—he is collecting gently used baseball and softball gear and accepting item swaps to support Irondequoit Little League and Troop 220. Donations are welcome, and money raised will be split evenly between the two groups.  Rochester First

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Rochester police investigated a single-car crash on St. Paul Street near the Inner Loop on March 28 when a Jeep SUV struck a railroad overpass and the driver was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries while officers cleared the scene and reopened the roadway.  ABC 13

CRIME NEWS

  • The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is looking for 16 year old Joey Buholtz and 15 year old Noah Buholtz who were last seen Friday at 3:40 p.m. on E. Henrietta Rd near Lehigh Station Rd in Henrietta + deputies say there is no indication the boys are in danger.  Rochester First
  • Rochester Police responded Saturday afternoon near Cottage and Elba streets after a stabbing left a 52-year-old man fighting for his life at Strong Memorial Hospital—police are searching for his assailant.  News 10
  • The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is searching for missing teens Joey Buholtz (16) and Noah Buholtz (15) who were last seen walking south on E. Henrietta Road near Lehigh Station Road at 3:40 p.m. on March 28, and deputies said they do not believe the boys are in danger while asking anyone with information to call 911.  ABC 13

  • A three-day whiskey and music festival in August at Camp Eastman in Irondequoit will feature over 25 music artists—among them rock icon Joan Jett and the Blackhearts—and offer whiskey tastings and VIP events that celebrate New York’s distilling heritage.  Democrat & Chronicle
