  • Ross Dress for Less is planning a new store in the Rochester area at Irondequoit Plaza on Titus Ave. Interior renovations are underway in a 27,000 sqft space & construction is expected to finish by June.  Democrat & Chronicle

CULTURE NEWS

  • Silkroad Ensemble, founded by Yo-Yo Ma, will perform at Kodak Hall on Thursday, Mar. 26 at 7:30 p.m. + sponsored by Eastman School of Music, the show will blend global musical traditions into a unique live experience.  Rochester Beacon
  • George Eastman Museum's Gallery Obscura currently showcases middle school photographs created during the 2025/2026 Studio 678 Photo Club. The free program from Flower City Arts Center involved 18 students from seven local schools, and the exhibit remains open through June 21.  Rochester Beacon

  • Rockin' for Wishes, an all-day tribute band event raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, will take place Sunday, March 22, from noon to 6 p.m. at Whiskeys Upper Deck — featuring tribute performances honoring bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Miranda Lambert.  ABC 13

  • New York State is providing $4M to help Mary Cariola Center build a new campus at the former Marketplace Mall in Henrietta, which will serve children with intellectual and developmental challenges.
