  • Officials at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge reported that a female bald eagle laid her first egg last Friday evening in Orleans and Genesee counties—she might lay a second egg Tuesday or Wednesday, and the hatch will take about 35 days.   • Section V high school boys basketball playoffs took place Saturday, Feb. 21 when Red Jacket beat Harley Allendale-Columbia 57 to 39 in a competitive match in the Rochester region. Coaches are urged to send in scores as the tournament continues.  Democrat & Chronicle
