- ➤ In Irondequoit, local nonprofit RocMaidan held a prayer Saturday, Feb. 21 to remember victims of the Ukraine war as the four-year anniversary of the invasion nears. The group shipped its 30th container of donated supplies last week. ABC 13
- ➤ Nearly 900 athletes competed in the Special Olympics New York State Winter Games on Saturday in the Finger Lakes region. Free health screenings were provided at the Riverside Convention Center in Rochester and the closing ceremony with medal presentations took place at 7 p.m. News 10
- ➤ Community members gathered in prayer at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church for a candlelight vigil ahead of the four-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Irene Lyko Smith of RocMaidan noted that the event reflected deep faith as volunteers continue shipping aid. News 10
