- ➤ New Yorkers are spending 1.89% of their monthly income on groceries, ranking 34th in a WalletHub study that compared grocery costs and incomes across 50 states. Grocery prices have risen nearly 30% since 2019 as inflation and supply issues continue to drive up costs. Democrat & Chronicle
- ➤ New car sales ended 2025 flat as prices hit record highs and monthly payments reached about 800, making cars less affordable for many buyers. The Rochester Auto Show is set to open on Friday, Feb. 27 at Riverside Convention Center to boost spring sales. WXXI News

- ➤ Governor Hochul announced $3.8 million in grants on Sunday for the New York State African American Heritage Grant Program — providing funds for education and capital projects to celebrate black history.
