About this event
Bird-friendly building is becoming a regular feature of sustainability planning in US cities and college campuses as people recognize birds as ever-present yet vulnerable co-inhabitants of the built environment. Join us for this exploration bird-safe planning, where we will consider bird conservation as a necessary and constituent dimension of sustainable development, green building, and environmentally protective building policies. Discover why a growing consensus says, a building cannot be "green" or sustainable if it harms bird life. And learn steps to help make your community more bird-friendly.
