Boaters Marine Batteries Free Seminar !

About this event

PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR November Public Meeting and free Marine Battery Seminar nite!

This seminar will help you get longer, more reliable service from your boat’s current 12-volt batteries, which start your engine and power your onboard electronic systems. Sooner or later, those batteries will need replacing. You’ll also become familiar with the options available when it’s time for an upgrade or replacement.

Topics include: · Battery Specifications · Batteries for Different Loads · Battery Chemistries · Onboard Charging Systems · Maintenance & Testing · Battery Replacement

Special attention is given to lithium batteries and the items you need to consider if you are thinking of a lithium upgrade.

ALSO Come learn about the latest Club happenings, events, and our upcoming winter Classes and our annual Change of Watch and Winter party all coming up for the 2026 Fall season !!

Meeting includes a social period to mix and meet with your fellow boaters while enjoying snacks and drink (soda pop and some light adult beverages) provided by our generous America's Boating Club of Rochester members.

So come join your fellow boaters at the Genesee Yacht Club !!

* ABC Rochester is not affiliated with Genesee Yacht Club but they kindly allow us to use their facilities for our meetings. Please treat them respectfully.
